THE LARGEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL SCOREBOARD POWERED BY LOCAL 601
In the photo to the right, you'll see, IBEW Local 601's, Michael Nelson bending conduit for the new 17,315 square foot scoreboard. This project has been be one of IBEW Local 601's proudest contributions for their partnership with this University of Illinois.
NEW APPRENTICES
On September 1st, we welcomed our 26 new apprentices into the IBEW program making them an established member of our brotherhood.
LOCAL 601 HOSTS THEIR ANNUAL GATHERING WITH LOCALS ACROSS ILLINOIS
Every year, Local 601 brings IBEW union electricians from across the state together for a day of community. This year, they grilled out, played bags, and had the chance to build relationships with union members beyond their own local.
